Refund & Returns Policy
At MBD Unique, we take immense pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our brass, copper, and iron products. Each item is meticulously handcrafted, and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not, we’re here to help make it right.
This policy outlines the steps for returning a product and receiving a refund or exchange.
1. Our General Return Policy
You can return most items purchased from MBD Unique within 7 days of the delivery date. But customer must inform MBD Unique within 24 hours otherwise you will not be eligible for return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it:
- Unused and undamaged: The product must not show any signs of use or wear.
- Original packaging: It must be returned in its original packaging, including any protective wrapping or boxes.
- Proof of purchase: You must have a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please Note: Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, minor variations in color, finish, and weight are normal and not considered a defect. These unique characteristics are a testament to the item’s individual craftsmanship.
2. Items That Cannot Be Returned
Certain items are not eligible for a return. We hope you understand these exceptions, which are in place for hygiene and quality control purposes:
- Used kitchenware or cookware: For health and safety reasons, any kitchen items that have been used (e.g., a copper pot that has been cooked in or an iron pan that has been seasoned) cannot be returned.
- Custom-made or personalized items: Products that have been specifically customized or personalized for you are final sale.
- Gift cards: Gift cards are non-refundable.
3. Damaged or Defective Items
We carefully inspect every item before it leaves our workshop, but if your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please:
- Contact our customer support team at info@mbdunique.com within 24 hours of delivery.
- Include your order number and clear photos of the damaged product and its packaging.
We will evaluate the issue and arrange for a replacement or a full refund at no additional cost to you.
4. Refunds and Processing Time
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account. The exact timeframe may vary depending on your bank or credit card company.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable, and the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to a damaged or incorrect item.
Exchanges: If you would like to exchange your item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order. This is the fastest way to get the item you want.
5. Shipping Costs
- Return Shipping (Customer Responsibility): If you simply change your mind or order the wrong item.
- Return Shipping (Our Responsibility): If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product.
Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
6. Order Cancellations
- Orders can be canceled within 4-8 hours of purchase if not yet shipped.
- Once shipped, cancellations are not possible. You may request a return after delivery.
7. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund after the processing period:
- First check your bank account.
- Then contact your credit card/bank provider (it may take time for the refund to appear).

8. International Orders
- International returns may take longer to process due to shipping timelines.
- Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are non-refundable.
4. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these simple steps:
- Contact Us: Send an email to info@mbdunique.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
- Wait for Authorization: We will review your request and, if it meets the criteria of our policy, we will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and a return shipping label.
- Package Your Item: Carefully package the item in its original box with all original contents. Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package.
- Ship It Back: Send the package to the address we provide. Please do not send items back without first requesting a return, as they will not be accepted.
